"I can't tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone."
**
I was listening to someone in a meeting today, and he said to no one in particular: If you want something different, you have to change. But because you don’t want to be disliked by those around you, you choose to stay the same. Because if you really wanted it that badly, you’d change, and you’d commit, but instead you choose to stay where you are.
It has ignited a lot of thoughts that I’ve spent the day putting on paper and cannot yet fully expand on. But it has been ringing in my ear.
Can you relate to this statement? Is there an area in your life, that if you were to change right now, or if you were to become a different person, or if you made the decision that you know God is calling you to, would draw the ire of those around you?
