You keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Peace in the midst of storms. Peace in the midst of uncertainty. Peace in the midst of upheavals and turmoil. Peace that surpasses all understanding. That’s a peace that helps you remain clearheaded; it keeps the eyes of your heart sharp. You know when to move, even as you stand immovable. You know what to shake, as you remain unshakeable. You exercise restraint even as you are provoked beyond your limit. You know something that you couldn’t possibly have knowledge to by any other means, yet it’s as certain as the breath you draw. You hear but not with your physical ears. You see, but not with your physical eyes. You know, but not by acquired knowledge. Your peace is perfect.
