I was watching a drama with French subtitles and the character said this statement: “The door is open to everyone, but not everyone can take the road.” The statement jumped out at me that I had to write it down. And then, today, someone said to me: “scared money doesn’t make money,” and this person was encouraging me to do more, push more, because what am I doing?
As the year is wrapping up, with everything that has happened, life is meant to be lived and enjoyed, and to take risks. We are not in a dress rehearsal, where after 100 years is when we start to live our life. I think there are years that feel like a dress rehearsal, where you make mistakes, you try things, you fail at them, you experience hardship, you mess up, you trust the wrong people, you push away the wrong people, etc. But when, finally, you exit that season, and you enter into the season of where things are coming together; your thoughts have to change along with it. And you have to trust that things now are different. You sincerely have to leave the past and its experience behind.
And the road that is open, you have to be brave enough to take it. After years of refinement, you have to traverse the road that seemed impossible before, because now that you’ve survived the hard years, ---- not only survived but have conquered---- you can now do what was seemingly impossible.
So, have a plan. And commit to it; and sow into it little by little. Believe something different, and sow into that belief little by little each day. In your daily reading for the word. In affirmations with the word. In affirming that which God says. Believe in yourself too. Believe that what God has placed in your hand, you can produce something with it. There’s an expectation for you to produce something.
Be clear about where you are going and what it is that you want to achieve. Let it be clear in your mind; see it in your mind and experience it as though you already have it. And stick to this path that God has unveiled for you. Stick to the path no matter what. It’s an unusual time, filled with unusual things, and inexplicable occurrences. Don’t miss it, looking to the right or to the left and doubting what you know to be true.
There are things that, in the moment, you can’t explain in words, but once the picture becomes clearer, it’ll start making sense. So, take the leap, do the work, take the risk. Whether it’s a calculated risk, or one where God is pushing you to take and it doesn’t yet make sense, just do it.
What’s the best that could happen?
