"Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you"
Proverbs 2:11
**
If you knew that every person that you encounter is not who they present themselves to be, what would you change about your interactions with them?
If you knew that your family member, your friend, your colleague, that acquaintance, that church member engaged in sinister behaviour, how would you change your association with that person?
If you perceive that there is something peculiar about your environment, or about a particular person, something that you cannot put your finger on, what will you do?
If you knew that someone’s thoughts towards you are evil; or you perceived that a particular person’s behaviour toward you is abnormal, or wicked, would you maintain proximity in order to maintain/protect how you are perceived by others?
If you knew that someone is dealing treacherously with you, and given the opportunity or the means, they’d destroy everything that you hold dear, would you continue to maintain a relationship with that person?
If God is telling you no about a particular person, place, or thing/opportunity, will you allow people, even those that you trust, those that you love, those that you respect, those that you value, to convince you otherwise?
