In hindsight, I would have told you that you have a good sense of responsibility. Stop thinking that you don’t. The door on the other side comes with a blessing and responsibility that you are able to handle; you are more than capable. Remember all the things that you thought you’d never be able to do, yet you learned. Go back; sift through the things you are confident about now and see how you used to feel, how you used to think, how you overcame. Don’t think about how you can “do better.” This time around I want you to bask in the great that you have achieved, and rest in it, celebrate it and be enough in it. And then when you are done go and do more and celebrate the intervals in each accomplishment. Yes, it’s easy to look at what is still pending; it’s ok to ponder on the road ahead. But for today, for now, gaze into the mirror and be at ease. Do not be afraid of the responsibility required by the door in front of you. Don’t hesitate anymore. Don’t open it a crack and then jump back. Be confident. You can handle it.
