Do not waste time comparing. Do not waste time fighting those who are not on the same path, who are not called to the purpose set before you. Do not spend time reasoning, even with those close to you about the cross that you have been called to carry. This life is hard. This body, this flesh that houses your soul and spirit--- do you not feel both freedom and constraint? The onslaught of challenges that you endure, does it not test your faith? Remember James’ words. Maintain your patience through every challenge, because there is a glory unthinkable on the other side if you do not faint and do not give up.

My hope when you read Hindsight is that not only will you be encouraged, but you'll be talked down the ledge of feeling that you are not good enough, you're too late to make anything of yourself, or that your life is of little value. We experience these feelings from time to time in the journey of life and discovering our purpose, but one thing that I have learned is that my life has purpose, and I have value. I was created to contribute something into this world, and for that reason I must not give into any feelings of inferiority, hopelessness or fear.
And with Hindsight, I hope you can also look back at the past, not with anxiety, or shame, but with awe that you have made it through difficult moments. And because of that, you can look at your present with confidence and assurance that you will make it through any challenge that will come your way. Above all, when you put your faith in God to lead you through these moments, you won't only make it, but you'll thrive in the place where He takes you!
I look forward to sharing Hindsight with you. I hope you'll be empowered, and encouraged as I have been.
