In a world that is relentlessly fighting my identity in Christ, seeking to distort and cause me to be dissatisfied in how God intentionally knit me in my mother’s womb, and fearfully made me in His image and likeness; I am reminding myself to remain vigilant and stand resolute at the gate of my heart. Many of us are and have gotten lost in striving to bend our bodies to what is culturally glorified and acceptable; building our self-esteems by tearing others down, propped up on mountains of witty tongues and fragile hearts.
But God, you revealed that man’s wisdom is foolishness and it profits nothing. You opened my ears to hear the foolishness of human reasoning.
All the works of your hands are good. And so I praise you, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
