Judgement

"As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person"- Proverbs 27:19

Uncover the hidden things nestled within me, that secret canker perverting my soul;

Reveal to me the dark things of my heart that I may surrender it to you for cleansing. Take these corrupt roots and turn them into ashes. 

Draw out the poison; yes, cut off these dead branches. 

Draw me to the river; let your spirit turn these leaves green once more.

Will I still find grace?

Erase this spirit of judgement that I may stand in love and peace,
that I may reflect the light of your love.

Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right Spirit within me.
